CDN:-
It is a system of the network that delivers pages and content of the web to the user based on its geographic location means there are multiple servers across the globe and when the user requests a page or web content so it doesn’t go to directly the main server but goes to a different server that is cache server and provides faster access the web page or web content.
How a CDN Works:-
To minimize the distance between visitor and web server, CDN store its content in a different geographic location that is a different point of presence (PoP), this PoP contains multiple cache server which is responsible for content delivery to the visitor within its closeness.
CDN puts web content in different places at once. Example for when someone in the USA and wants to access A website hosted in India so it’s done through local PoP when he requests some content and response by PoP within minimum time instead of travel full length of width India to USA.
Just look a note that studies show that in every second count, a second delay causes a 7% drop in conversions . an 11% drop in page views and a 16% drop in customer satisfaction.
